Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and the She’s Crafty Podcast wants to make sure all our crafty lady listeners are looking longingly into the drunken eyes of a good man. Here’s a list of ways we’ve discovered to keep you warm on February 14th.
1. REMOVE THE PHRASE "I DON'T LIKE BEER" FROM YOUR VOCABULARY
Men like beer. You should too. If you meet a guy that prefers wine over beer, you should assume he has a criminal past or is overly attached to his mother. (Trust us. We know everything)
2. ADD "CRAFT BEER DRINKER" TO YOUR TINDER PROFILE
It’s like catching flies with honey...or hops. You could write any other nonsense in your profile and it won’t matter. All they see is “beer”.
3. GO TO A BOTTLE SHARE
We’ve never been to a bigger sausage fest. Freetail and a few other breweries around town hold them regularly. It’s like the comic con of beer drinkers. Grab a rare bottle of something old and unique and head to a bottle share. Taste a hot fellas brew. “Excuse me...can I taste your bottle?”
4. ASK A HANDSOME STRANGER FOR BEER ADVICE
Put some lipstick on and head over to Central Market or Whole Foods...spend an afternoon at Specs. Hang around the craft beer section and ask a handsome stranger what his favorite sour or stout is. We’d be surprised if you’re not engaged by summer.
5. VISIT EVERY TAP ROOM IN TEXAS
Branchline, Freetail, Busted Sandal...St. Arnold's...Hops and Grain...
Brewers are hot. All of them, even if they're not. All bearded and tatted up. Throw on your She's Crafty "I'd Tap That" tee and make the rounds. Instead of an expensive perfume, rub a handful of grain on yourself. When the brewer asks what scent you’re wearing, say “Mash”.
